It's assumed my act plays as advertised - what needs to proven is that I can also entertain with it.

Based on the scenario - there is no way you can do a reading of any worth... unless you can figure out a way to do 15 minutes... scenarios you describe require you to think of something you can do in 1 minute flat.... two if you have spellbound the table... if its a walk around party... maybe max 3... but you are pushing it...
As someone mentioned - looking well off is a good thing Next, prepare before the party and know a few targets and get ready for warm readings - not cold readings Next, PW is an excellent thing.... with a SUC or SAW or OUTLAW... you can create a miracle with blending in whatever topic is under discussion and tying it into dreams, premonitions etc... Also, lastly, I would suggest that the business card is used in whatever you do so it can be left behind...

In his first post he mentioned meeting a person for coffee and being at a dinner party. I've performed Creating Impact at various coffee shops a few times and once at a dinner party, so I know it would work out. I believe the story related in the manuscript was set in a coffee shop.
Now, if the dinner party is attended by 15-20 people, or if it's a banquet or some other large gathering, then I agree with you completely; It's the wrong kind of atmosphere for the effect. paul.f |

My thought:
+ Some psychology games which involve everyone. + Follow with a book/magazine test or some forcing trick. + Close with a banknote serial divination. |

I have two situations one are for one-to-one meetings with potential bookers and one is for the dinner party.
But really Im looking at creating a list of effects for any opportunity to sell myself... |

I like the flying 1/4 - sorry hardcorerers - liteflite setup. Very visual and in my opinion a very impressive, close up display of psychokenisis. I'm sorry I love this effect...

basicly for me it is much better if SOMEONE ELSE point out that you are Mentalist/Hypnotist/Paranormalist/...and it is much better if THEY ask you to do something weerd & Bizare.....Natural Selling...Not Hard Selling of course you could Steer their conversation slowly and delicately toward Weerd & Bizzare....this to create the impressions as if the desire to watch something weerd & Bizare came from them self NOT you.... and of course after you spark their interest toward the weerd....your effect MUST reflect their initial conversation... hope it help Cheers |

You could, during the conversation start looking disturbed (if you don't already) and start saying things like "did you just say such-n-such?....i thought it was you...sorry, carry on...." then as they look confused, encourage them to continue...
then do it again...then interrupt and say "sorry, I've got to show you this...earlier I had these words in my mind when I woke up today...i wrote them down and sealed them in this envelope..." pull it out and have them open it...inside would be a billet with certain words that they've said during your conversation with a brief description of them too...dead easy... I don't need to explain how do i?

Mmm, seems I've been away a bit too long. I should stop working so hard lol.
Thank you to all who mentioned and spoke about Creating Impact. And I agree (of course) with your advice . For those who have it, fear not to be weary about performing this piece for an audience of more than one... in other words a small group of people up to ten or so would also work... its all about audience management and how to play the effect off the person participating. When I wrote the ebook I described the situation that was most fresh in my mind, and in no way implied that it's ONLY for one-on-one. It's certainly best for one-on-one, but since then I find it's very possible to play it to a group and involve more than one person in the routine. And of course the premise of creating your own reality is only one presentational angle of many. I hope this makes things more clear for you. |

I fully agree. Inlfuence U2 is powerful and very underrated.
Definitely one of the best effects of 2007. Hennessey

I would use SNIPPER in a way that forces a line of text in a newspaper article that either uses the person's name, the person's employer, or something that directly relates to the person's interests.
What is SNIPPER? The ONLY easy-to-customize newspaper cutting force. For more info about SNIPPER, visit: http://www.chuckhickok.com./tools.html With the right presentation, this absolutely amazes people! I use it every time I want to impress a potential client. I would do Banachek's PK Time and then go into Osterlind's watch routine. These effects are quick and will certainly evoke conversation. It also gives you the opportunity to leave your business card behind.
