Litle humor here:

I was doing a talent contest years ago, and I could not understand why the guy in the front row was NOT reacting to any of my effects. This bothered me, as I was doing some pretty amazing stuff, but he was stone silent. Didn't move a facial muscle. Not a smile, not an eyebrow raise. Zilch. The more he didn't react, the more determined I became to make it so.

Well, I finished my set, and to my chagrin someone hooked the same guy by the arm and led him up to the stage to do HIS set! He was completely blind! D'oh!

I won the contest, by the way.
