Some people might have seen I have been critical to Lior Manor. It all culminated a few days ago in a thread I think has been deleted. I think it was posted in this section.
The background was that Lior had been rude to me without a reason, about something I wrote about. I then noticed he continued in the same way with others here. So I objected. And a few days ago it culminated in me saying out loud what I thought about him. It turned into a fight with words, and eventually the thread (as I have understood it) was deleted. Lior sent me a PM where he said he had never posted anything against me. I searched and searched to show him what I was thinking about, but couldn't find it. Either it was in a thread that was deleted, or I can't find it. Or, I might have confused him with someone. I also wrote him and told him I couldn't find it, and that I might have confused him with someone. I apologized. Lior then wrote that many people have read my posts against him and he thought that I have to apolgize in public. So I hereby apologize to Lior Manor in public. I will delete any negative comments I have made about him (I think there are at least one, but I can't find it). If any of you happen to see one of them please PM me and I will delete them. Mikael |

It takes a real man to admit when he is wrong. My hat is off to you, friend!

Wow, that's very understanding. Sometimes an arguement is the last thing that is needed. Rational debate will always conquor in my opinion. I find myself ready to jump on people for things they say too. Now it just seems to be a bigger person to ignor it, or like you did apologize if you find you are truely wrong.

Good for you, Mikael - I have read Lior's comments about many things, and I would have to say (in the most lovingly way <grin>) that he is harsh, and opinionated...but then, so am I!!
You have done something that most cannot do: you have made an admission (whether for reasons of guilt, or political correctness). Most would simply grumble about it for the rest of their lives, and then end up angry old folks, with a big chip on their shoulder. Let's hope that Lior is big enough to accept your public apology, and do it here on this forum, so we can all get back to being polite friends (at least, on-line...right, Marduke?) Lee |

You've done the right thing and for that I salute you. The problem with forums like this is that we can all be tempted read things into what others say when there was no intention there and also for things to sound harsher in writing than they would face to face. I have also been caught up in a fairly stupid exchange of posts/PMs and it saddens me that people can sometimes take things too seriously on here. But well done for being a decent poster. A |
