Hi All,
I want to take a moment to share with you about someone who really delivers what he promises and then some. Some of you already know Jim Snack through the wealth of information that he posts on the Café here, or through buying his course or other materials from him. I've never met him, but have bought his course and a few other materials as well. A few times I've had some situations come up, and have called or emailed him for advice, and he so willingly shares his wisdom and insight. The information he has compiled in his course is worth many times what he charges for it, and the service that he offers is unmatched. I'm not connected in any way with him, and I'm not trying to sell you his stuff. Anyone who has purchased from him has probably had similar experiences. I just want to let you all know how fortunate we are to have people like him on the Café who offer the insights they've gained through years of trial and error. If you're into the business side of show business, he is the man to go to! -Jeff |

I also purchased from Jim when he was part of a course for sale for educational shows....I called him and Jim gave me some of the greatest advice I've ever had the pleasure of not only listening to, but taking and using. He's one of the knidest people in this business I've ever spoken to. As I recall he was fixing dinner (working on a salad? Or was it something he was actually cooking...) for his family as we spoke..and when I said "I don't want to keep you, I know you're busy", he said he wanted to make sure that I got what I needed. The man is a saint. When he gets on the Café and I happen to scroll down and see his smiling face, you'd better bet I will stop and read that post of his. He could host a convention all his own and I'd bet it'd be filled up!
Jim, just so you know, if you're ever around St. Louis you've got a place to stay!!! |

Thanks guys. I love magic and magicians, always have and always will, and I take great joy in seeing others do well as performers. I have been blessed to be able to earn a good living as a magician and I enjoy helping others do likewise. All boats rise with the tide.
Chris, next time I'm in St Louis I'll look you up and we can go enjoy some ribs and a few beers. I wish I had time to go to more conventions. Actually I think the Magic Café should host a convention and I'll be happy to be one of the presenters. This is a great community and it's an honor to share the spae with so many other magic enthusiasts. Break a thread... Jim |

I have to chime in with acouple things. First off this is a refreshing thread to be complimenting a peer for a switch.
Second of all Jim and his courses are second to none. I have said time and again how I wish I had the course when I was starting. The wealth of information contained within the course is worth 10x its weight in gold. If you want a course that has a bunch of promises it can't keep coupled with fake math on how much you can make really really fast, then move along nothing to see here. If you want a course that can help guide you through the very difficult real world of magic performace and how to feed your family while you chase a dream, then this is for you.

I too have to jump in here. Jim has given me a lot of help. by replying to my threads and me just searching old threads. Everytime I see one of his posts (along with Kyle, Santa, Danny, and a few others), I always take the time to re and re-read it.
I have learned a ton on here, and just want to thank Jim, as well as all the others that have helped me from getting my first restaurant gig to my first private gig. Thanks! Steve |

I “7th” these comments, experiences and sentiments regarding our brother Jim!
Jim is still one of the TOP presenters I have had the privilege and honor to see (and even share the stage with on several occasions!) and his is one heck of a stand-up guy and genuine super-hero! Thanks for breathing brother Jim! We love you! Deano in Reno <><

I'll join in. It was back a couple of years ago when I bought Jim's Course on this business. I had a couple of questions and gave him a call. Well he returned my call and helped me personally, plus I have called him on a couple other occasions and he has always been willing to share his time and knowledge.
Thanks Jim Peter |

For the few members n the Café that don't already know it (first hand), Jim Snack is truly a most talented person. A special person. A person that shares his sage thoughts, valuable time, listening skills and unyielding encouragement without expecting anything in return.
Many thanks Jim! You've done so much, for so many. Luckily, what goes around comes around! And you are certianly deserving. _____________________________________________ Jonathan

I must also throw my hat into the ring here. It was folks like Jim Snack and Dean Hankey who both put me under their wings and reallyh taught me that there was a reason why they call it "show business". I have learned somuch from Jim over the years. When I was trying to break into the festival and fair market, it was Jim who not only was willing to answer all of my many questions, but saw to it that I learned as much as I could. He was always willing to help me and never asked for anything in return but that I take action for my own success. I owe him much gratitude for what he has done for my wife and I. Thank you Jim.

I could not believe the wealth of information I received about a year ago, in my inbox from Jim without even asking him for anything. He saw I was stuck and helped me. This wasn't copy pasted information, it was him taking time in his day to help me, a stranger, with something that was stressing me out so much.
I was stuck and he told me EXACTLY what to do and how to do it. It takes a special man to do what he did for me, out of the goodness of his own heart. I have told you many times Jim, but thanks....again You inspire me |
