There is or was a trick that involved a strip of red paper when lit would rise to a overhead and then come back down. Then the magi would clap his or her hands together and make the strip reappear. What is the name of the trick and is it still available.
I saw Bill Baker do it at a FCM convention one time a few years ago. Quite good. David |

Old but excellent! I think originally it was called the "Phoenix Ashes" or something like that.

I, too, have performed it since way back when and I believe it was called "Ashes Of The Phoenix".
The misdirection of the ashes floating up is about as strong as you can get. Bryan
