What in your opinion is the best wallet? Why? I am looking into getting a wallet but I want one with more than one application. Card in wallet is not the effect I am looking for. This might be an added bonus but is not what I want specifically. I want a utility wallet. My main interest is Mentalism and thus any wallet must be applicable to this type of effect. Also it must qualify to carry Kolossal Killer as this is one of my main close-up effects. Opinions are welcome and much appreciated.
Thanks, Samuel

Since you are not looking for card to wallet but a utility wallet, and want to do mentalism, I would recommend a good Himber wallet. It has the most universal uses of anything that you will find. Now as to which one to get? That is a matter of personal choice. Try to decide how you plan on using the wallet to decide which one fits your applications best. Some that I personally like are Tony Binarelli's Super wallet, Eric Mason's Beta Wallet, Ton Onosaka's Ton's wallet, Jerry O'Connell's Deluxe wallet and the Bendix Bombshell. Notice I said that I personally like them, this does not mean that I use them in the working world. I have become addicted to collecting wallets and now number 70 in this insane collection. When I am actually performing, be it corporate or walk around, I still use my Balducci Wallet (from Keith Bennett) for signed card to wallet. It is a personal thing, and you can talk to 20 different people and each will have his own favorite.
Feel free to PM me with any questions you may have, and I'll try to answer them as best I can. Hope this has helped some. All the Best Marty |

In the Bob Cassidy DVD he has an effect where he shows one card in his wallet. The wallet is a double Himber, so you can show "one card" from 4 different areas that look the same. It's also gaffed in other ways.

Take a look at Jerry Mentzer's 'The Wallet Book.'
There is everything you could want to know about the most popular wallets and effects. An excellent book. Personally, I get the most utility from a BKM wallet. |

I am very satisfied with Mind Spy wallet. You can use it to perform a lot of things from peeks to even a signed card to wallet effect. Other good wallets are BKM, SUCII, Mullica, Himber. My vote is for Mind Spy.

The Miller Miracle Wallet is the easy-to-find version of the one Cassidy uses in his video. And anything by Jerry O'Connell is amazing - rates right up there with Ray Piatt's quality work!

Also - do a search on Mumblepeas and I think that may yield a result.
As my memory serves, there was a very good thread not long ago on this forum on wallets. Go back a couple of pages. |

The nice thing about the Jerry O'Connell wallets is that you will have and use them for a very long time. An excellent investment!
