Does David ever sells his illusions?

Do you think he is ever going to retire?

I think he just retires his props to the warehouse museum. He has no need to sell them and I'm sure he has plenty of space for everything.

He sure stays busy but he also looks tired all the time. I would think everything goes to the museum as well.

What I would do is pick some of the upcoming and top illusionists, put them all on one tour, and let them perform 2 hours of his best props. People would get to see good illusions, david wouldnt have to perform but could produce the tour, therfore not getting worn out, and some of the best illusions ever are being used all in one show. Imagine picking the best of the best illusions out of 15 years and putting them in one show.

VideoKing.... nice idea kinda like what Franz Harary does! But Copperfield is a perfectionist, do you think:
A- anyone fill his shoes in his eyes?
b- hat he would really want to take time out retire and build a show for someone else to do his stuff? Performing Magic is like a rush. I really at one wanted build illusions and put on a show that way, but after building some effects and watching others not do them the way I vision them to be performed I kept them and added them to my show. We all perform because we love it, David will never think he is too old. SO its a great idea, Franz is doing good at it I think.

Just think of yourself as a 25-year-old with 25 years of experience.

When you enter his warehouse you only see the ones which don't 'expose' anything even if you walk up close like Spiker and this giant double smoke chamber...The lamp which stood next to the couch levitation, some props etc.
All others are neatly stored away in giant ATA cases on double or triple high shelves. It is truly an amazing warehouse where you wish to be locked in one night like a kid in a candy store.
Plus rows and rows of all the outfits he wore since the first show. He pretty much keeps all of the things that are dear to him.

Would you care to elaborate on that last posting?

Once David retires, Kirby will take his place as the BEST grand illusionist. IF anyone has seen Kirby perform, then you know what I mean. I have even been lucky enough to have a 3 hour- face to face conversation. Kirby offered great advise and actually handed down to me a prop of his.
