I want to buy a new salt pour. With my old gimmicks I'm not really satisfied.
Is someone using both, the Levent and the Kozaks and can give information about the strengths and weaknesses by this two variations? |

Levents gimmick is lighter, smaller and slightly differently shaped and less expensive than Kozacks. Both allow you to perform the effect (as does the Riser gimmick). I own all 3. I would recommend the Levent set; but this is, at it's heart, a manipulation effect. So the movement, blocking, routine and handling are the most important part. Kozacks is a great routine as is Levent's. Levent's gimmick is designed for a myriad of salt pour moves, steals, shows and also to allows you to keep track of the amount of salt remaining. Levent goes into great and painstaking detail on his DVD, not only to teach his routine, but show some historical routines from Vernon. Benson and Kaps.

I have both but cannot reccomend you to buy this one or that one because of the price diffrence. But as for weaknesses and strengths; Kozak's capacity is considerably more than Levent's, Levent's is much more easy to handle for manipulation,Kozak's item will last you life time for sure,Levent's dvd gives you a lot of side information, Kozak's dvd is more based on his experience,Kozak's routine is more entairtaining and can be adapted more easily,Levent's routine is more practical. Actually there are a lot of diffrences . But for the price diffrences I'd suggest you to get levent's first,do the act and see if this really fits your style,if yes, then buy the kozak's...

I own this, the first salt pour gimmick I've owned, so I can't compare with others, but I like it a lot.
As stated before, the dvd is priceless, and at these prices, you can buy two of the gimmicks (keep one as a backup) for less than the price of one of the others. An advantage of the plastic (besides the fact that you can tell how much salt is left in it - for timing purposes) is that it will never corrode from the salt. The salt shaker is also perfect for the routine.

The DVD stands as one of the most beautifully crafted and detailed educational resources I have seen. The gimmicks available in the marketplace work just fine. But their value pales next to the significance of this DVD. Teach a man to fish....

I had the pleasure to view the DVD tonight.
The variety of brilliant methods and ideas from the past to the present has definitely sparked my performance development. The gimmick is also well designed. Well worth the $40 investment. Eric |
