I have always found the use of Harry Potter names irritating. So I've decided to come up with one for me. I'm looking for suggestions.

Professor Limpywrist....I don't know, it doesn't fit me, some of you may want to use it.

Professor Stumpythumb....might work

Mr. Middlefingerextender....a bit long

Prof. Pinkypoker....has that gambling theme working

Prof. Stumbledrunk.... I like it

Mr. Fallinflat ....nah

Doctor Tummyjuggle....huh?

Anymore?

I love the term "muggles" to describe lay people. I predict it will become part of the language if it hasn't already.

When I created my Harry Potter show I decided that it would be better to present it as a character not in the books as you wouldn't have to deal with any preconcieved notions of what a particular individual thought the characters looked like.
I like to incorporate my name into my various character names so I settled upon Professor Hieronymus Payne.

Of your list I like Prof. Stumpythumb the best

This ain't in the spirit of MagicSanta's topic, sorry.

Had a gig this past summer for a Harry Potter themed costume shindig.

I chose the name of Mundungus Fletcher's younger and better looking brother, Fundungus Fletcher, I made it up and thought it was brilliant like all my ideas.

Love you Santa!

I like the name Professor Billy Buttons myself. Not very Harry Potterish sounding but would get smiles. Perhaps Professor Twiddlethumbs?

Jaz- good ones!

Dunno if I'd want to be called a Dame, reminds me of those old Bogart movies when female folk were referred to as dames. :O)

I think I'll stick with using Miss Steak, Miss Adventure, and Miss Direction.

Sorry, MagicSanta temporarily hijacked your post.
