Hi All,
Just wondered if anyone can help me out. I need to know the specs (voltage etc) of the battery for the pen for the psychic clipboard 3. I have one but there is no info on the battery and the guys down the local electrical shop tried to match one up but the clipboards being a bit intermittent on performance. Please let me know if anyone has the specs of the battery. Thanks, Matt |

Why don't you contact the manufacturer?

It takes 2 x 1.5 volt button type batteries. These are used in small electronic equipment like small calculators, watches etc. These are available usually in most electronic stores. They are only 5/16" in dia which is the same as the pen of course and thicker than the flat type of 1.5 volt batteries for watches. don't forget, there is a notch or line scored on the pen cap and body, when you replace the batteries these marks have to be lined up when you push the top back on the pen . Hope this helps

Matt, maybe you should kick electonics to the curb. I use the The Impressionable Mind Board. I never had in any problems.

I get where your coming from Dynamike. I used the clipboard in a 2 night stage show. The first night it went faulty and did not send the complete info, Luckily I had a back up plan. The second night I used an imprssion board and got the same effect. However I'll take it on the head it was my fault for not using fresh batteries. Now I'm gonna put new batteries in for each performance.
Thanks for all the advice guys. Matt |
