Ever since Michael Jackson's trial I have decided not to buy Fantasy Magician.
Who needs the problem of impropriety. Today with so many parents ready to sue at the drop of a hat over nothing, I wont do it. As funny as it is.

Also, can people still get Mark Trimble's products new, or do they have to look for used? Could a person adapt Gene's current product to have the features that the Trimble version had? - Donald

Hi again Steve -
I did my research and read your old posts on the subject. So I've answered my first two questions, but still have my third. - Donald

The current Picto-Transpo CAN be adapted. You just have to paint the frames and make 2 bags (matching colors, preferably red/blue or anything with a huge contrast, and you want the same colors as the markers you'll use) out of something like vinyl or naugahyde...remember that stuff?
Trimble's products aren't available new anymore. If you can find an original Picto-Chango, you'll want the DELUXE model with the wooden frames. The aluminum are alright, but not as good. Steve |

Magic in their Hands! Any effect that is interactive and allows the magic to happen in their hands will kill with kids & adults: Sponge Balls, Sponge Rabbits, card & coin transpositions, penetrations, silk color changes, silk vanishes & reappearances, color knives finale, rope knot effects - there are so many! I try to remember that sitting and watching an effect is Dull! Dull! Dull! Drawing the spectator into the fantasy as a full participant - Priceless!

Speaking of Gene Anderson, I do the torn and restored newspaper for kids and adults and patter about making mistakes (tearing the newspaper) and how mistakes can be fixed.

I do Picto Transpo in my children's birthday shows, using the mom as the 'volunteer'. Having mom up gets the attention of the kids and the adults, and it fools EVERYONE. I use the new retractable Sharpie pens to save having to recap the pens. I love that trick for all ages.
