Hey people!
I am looking upon a move to Ireland in about 6 weeks... a new job, new position, new salary and new "hunting grounds" for performing/unleashing my magic upon the poor unexpecting locals... So .. I was merely wonering if there is anyone on Ireland who shares my interests in the bizarre magic over there? I'll be staying in Galway, in case anyone wonders... Hopefully there will be lots of stories and legends and whatnot there to use and inspire bizarre thigns to come

One of the founding fathers of bizarre magick, Tony Shiels, lives in Ireland, I believe.

Galway's a beautiful place and very lively... I doubt you will struggle for material, Ireland is a very magical place.

The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words.

Tony Raven, who jointly coined the term "bizarre magick" with Tony Shiels, died a couple of years ago, but last I heard (April 2006) "Doc" moved to Kerry County in Southwest Ireland. He had lived in Cornwall for years. Shiels is responsible for sparking my interest in bizare magick, and I was honored to meet him at one of the Invocational conventions.

Thanks for the input on this .... 5 weeks and I'm off .... and soooo much to do.
I'm even goign to have to do two last "normal" magic gigs before I leave... customers.. bah.. At least I get to kill my colleague on stage at the end of the second show, so something bizarre will come out of it .. Unfortunately, due to time restraints, I will not be able to do it the really creepy way we initially planned, but it'll be fun anyway Now there's an end in this country .. kill my colleague on stage and then be on the very next flight to Ireland ..
