It is now 7:50 and I am still playing with it.
I take 5 cards from a deck.
I type in 4 of them.
It tells me the 5th one.
It will take some time before I take this into public.
It is beautiful.

And both John or Hocus Pocus sell it. You might want to get John's DVD's. It's on John Mendoza's My Best Volume 3.

John, thanks for promoting this product. It is one of the best purchases I have made.

Fourth phase looks like this:

-Spec selects a five card poker hand.

-All cards face down.

-Spec picks ANY card from the five to be the hole card and keeps it face down.

-Magi DOESN'T know what card it is (and doesn't have to), Spec DOESN'T know what card is (it can be a borrowed deck of cards)

-Spec can put hole card back and change his mind as often as he wants.

-The other four cards in the hand that aren't the hole card are turned up one by one and entered into the Poker Machine.

-Magi DOESN'T know what the other four cards are before the spec turns them up (remember the spec enters the cards into the machine, magi doesn't touch it)

-Magi doesn't touch the Poker Machine through ALL of the above.

-After the spec has entered the four cards.........get ready for it............the Poker Machine slowly displays the identity of the UNKNOWN AND FACE DOWN HOLE CARD!

Even as the magi or gambling demonstrator doing this effect, you're going to smile and slay YOURSELF every time the hidden card is displayed.

Poker Machine is as close to appearing like magic as I've ever seen in 25 years of looking for card effects that......well, look like magic.

It is very clever. I like it a lot. And John Mendoza is very helpful if you run into any problems. Cant go wrong with this one!

I am in complete agreement.
My machine malfunctioned tonight (well, actually, I malfunctioned, as the machine never misses) and the spectators STILL thought that it was the darnedest thing that they had ever seen.
I really love it.

The Poker machine predicts "hole" cards.
The spectator inputs 4 cards and the machine tells what the 5th card will be.
Some say that the description of the machine overstates what it can do.
This is untrue, as the Poker machine is a real mind blower.
I have only had mine for a month or so. Already, it has confounded scientists, professors, bankers, gamblers, magicians and school administrators.

5 cards are randomly selected.
The names of 4 cards are put into the machine.
The machine tells you the fifth card.
This is repeated several times.
If you have any storyteller blood at all (and even if you don't) this can be a real killer.
I have been doing magic for 40 years and this is certainly one of my favorite pieces.
I do not want to do without this thing.

Thanks for all the kind words about the Poker Machine from so many. I do want to state, however, that the ad description, which I wrote, in NO way overstates what the machine does or can do. The routine is described EXACTLY as the audience sees it and the last phase is what fools everyone so badly in that the selected card is TRULY unknown by the spectators AND the magician and the spectator, not the magician, enters the remaining four cards into the machine in any order they choose. Despite that, the machine accurately reveals the identity of that fifth card. The method is a real tribute to Al Stanger's genius.
