I actually have two! One is called "Thanksgiving" and the other "Christmas". Although the names work much better for Turkey's , hey what can I say?!

Jam a goose call in your chicken's neck. Third time you use your runnng gag squeeze and the chicken honks. It's a great topper and breaks the pattern.

If you must know, my rubber chicken's name is Gwendolyn, and she can find a selected card faster than any snake in a basket.

When I was a kid I used a rubber chicken that I named, "McNugget." Got a nice little laugh.

True story:Just last week I had lunch with a child who has autism. My order arrives, a chicken sandwich he leans over and says to me - that smells pretty "fowl." I was in the middle of protesting when he starts laughing. I realized he was joking..it was brilliant!
I think if I had a chicken I'd name it Friar Tuck (great minds think alike Jaz). You might get some more ideas from this site and has a little song on the front page. http://www.chickens.ca/ C |

I think Gwendolyn is an excellent name for a rubber chicken.
For younger kids I often find a funny sounding name works better than a clever one. Mr Chickenpants Chunky Flobblehousen etc George |

I had an idea for a rubber chicken.
A wand that leaves the child holding a rubber chicken. Has this been done? |

For over twelve years, I featured a live hen in my cabaret act. She was called "Madame Charmaine - The World's Greatest Clairvoyant Chicken!" Charmaine of course was only her stage name, her real name was "Wattles" (She had an understudy named "Wishbone").
She laid eggs containing predictions, devined the serial numbers on bank-notes, and performed other feats of Eggstrasensory Perception! I thought you might like to know that! Leslie.
Stories....?....That's telling!

I call mine "Mac" as in McChicken. I find this helps the kids have a more real and personal connection with him.

George,
I am not sure if there is a wand that leaves the child holding a rubber chicken. However, I often use a rubber chicken as a wand and garb it and hand it to the child in the classic "see - don't see" way. I think I am giving them a wand as I look the other way. The thing dangles and wiggles in front of the child and they just start laughing a lot. Kyle
