Title: ZED+ Z Fold Wallet w/ Bonus Effect
Medium: Wallet w/ trick Arena: Utility, switching device Available: Any shop, distributed by Murphys Magic Supplies ZED+ is a nicely produced Z fold wallet from Wizard FX in the UK. The chief use of the Z Fold wallet is to switch cards, billets, packets, pretty much anything you can fit into it flat. It actually is a pretty cool way to switch in and out cards, I’ve used them to carry packet tricks with gaffs and if someone wants to see the cards you pick up the wallet, open it, and give them regular cards. It is amazing what you can get away with, or more so what people don’t notice. What is nice about this one is it is good leather but better than that there is no imprint of any kind on the wallet to give away you are holding it with a different side open that before. I found some in a leather store once and when you opened one side it was embossed with gold print with the name of the manufacturer and it made it useless because the flash of gold killed the action. Also with the wallet is a little routine with a gaffed card. The basic effect is you pull out your deck, also with the wallet, and pull out the joker and put it into the wallet. The spec picks a card and it is lost in the deck. You reveal the card by opening the wallet and pulling out the joker and the joker is now holding the selected card….tada! Hey, it isn’t a miracle but it is a cute quickie and I’m sure if Ed Marlo saw it he’d come up with a version of it. So you get the deck of regular playing cards, the gaff, and the wallet in the package. If you need a Z Fold wallet or have been wondering how to switch in cards or billets etc this may be something that would be of interest to you. |

I produced the gaffed Jokers and wondered what to do with them until they came up with the ZED+ Wallet. It´s a nice bonus effect that is just icing on a cake. Even without the wallet is nice.

Bought this the other day at Blackpool for £15. I actually bought it as I recieved a free trick from David Penn, Hypno-aces, when I bought coinvexed. After he performed the trick he used the wallet to switch the cards used for his business cards which is super-quick and visual. As a result I bought it and plan on using it in my performances as a novel way of producing my business cards. The wallet is nicely made and relatively cheap, I haven't tried the jazzy joker trick but looks like a nice addition.

I sure would like to know why my post was deleted.
I did npt say anything bad that should have caused it to be removed. Look at the second post here... Obviously what I said was helpful. This place makes me so mad sometimes. Randi |

The last post on this was in 2008, does anyone else have anything to say about the Zed wallet? Sounds like something I might like, but was hoping for more reviews.
Thanks, Keith |

I'd like to know the dimensions of the wallet and also, what does the wallet look like when opened? does it have slots for credit cards and an id slot or is it just plain looking? I'm planning to buy a himber wallet that's compact and I'm choosing between this and the Himbering Ways wallet.

A picture would be nice instead of a graphic on the sites this is being sold. I find that so frustrating.

I emailed the manufacturer. Hopefully a reply would be in my inbox soon.
