I know jimesw, but it kinda got in to the discussion of what Sankey video is better/worse..
l just want a honest rewiew from someone who owns this one, cause when it costs this much, l want it to be worth it.....

Hey, I was surprised at how quickly I started learning and DOING a bunch of things from this DVD. I think the lack of verbal instruction made it more compelling. And yes, it contains a wide variety of things to choose from. There is something for everyone.

Hi Eirik,
In my opinion, I think Jay Sankey's 45 video isn't very good in comparison to his other DVDs/videos. In 45, it's all music and sound effects. Jay does NOT talk at all in this video and it can get quite difficult to try to pick up certain things about certain effects. All you get is some really irritating music after listening to it for more than an hour. Besides that, I find a lot of the effects here are 'recycled' from his other videos. Overall, I didn't think 45 was a good buy. Still, I guess we all learn somehow. I would avoid it if I knew earlier :-/

Sankeys "45" DVD does not really teach routines. Instead is is a collection is Sankeys favorite sleights.

Two years ago or so when I saw this dvd for the first time, it gave me a whole lot of useful and sometimes random sleights. I still to this day find myself using sleights in creating my own effects and wondering where in the world I picked them up, and then I remember that they were on Sankey's 45. Great purchase if you're just fixing for some random sleights.
