My stand-up show is 3.5 hours...
Just kidding! My stand-up/stage show runs about 20-25 minutes and the parlor show is right around 30 minutes. |

The way I look at is the price I charge is what it takes to get me up off of the couch, and drive over to your party. Once I get there I will do 30, 45, or 60 minutes. I only have one show which contains the best material I know. Al

How long does my show run for?
Hopefully long enough to pay off my mortgage. |

I do all of my birthday and daycare shows for 25-30 minutes. Bigger events I will go about 45 minutes. It seems pretty much the norm.

My show (and it really did seem like pretty much the same show) ran for about 26 years.
Beats the heck out of CATS, huh? |

It depends on how much of a head start I get on the audience...oh you mean the show itself, not how long I have to run. Well, depends on the venue, I've got 15 min sets for stand up work at resturants, 20-30 min sets for short performance demands, 45 min to 1 hr sets for more full performances, and I can combine some of them to get other odd ball times. My school shows ran about 40 min which seemed to be pretty much what the school wanted. I didn't do a lot of birthday parties, but the ones I did ran about 20-30 min. Kids just aren't big on sitting still for long periods. Comedy routines 15-20 min.
