I deleted all cookies off of my computer yesterday. Now I am trying to re-establish the "permanent log-in" feature here at the Magic Café. However, when I log-in now, I don't see the Edit My Profile or Edit My Preferences buttons! I also don't see a Logout button, either!

Hi Frank,

It's a trick. A lot of people seemed to be having trouble with cookies, so Gene set it up so that once you are logged in, it's permanent until you log out. You should see the "(Log Out)" link right under your name near the top right side of the page. Is it not there for you?

I just logged in, but there is no LOGOUT button or anything. My username isn't even listed at the top right of the page!

I fixed the problem. Thanks for your help. I am now permanently logged in everytime I re-visit the Magic Café. What I did was go into my Internet Options menu and adjusted my Privacy setting slider from High to Medium High. I had changed it yesterday to High when I deleted all of cookies. When it's set to High, though, sites such as the Magic Café aren't able to give me a cookie. Is this accurate???

Yes, that "High" setting would prevent you from getting your login cookie. Glad to hear you got the trouble sorted out!
