Not yet. But, I only go to my mailbox once per week. Who's on the cover?

Terry Evanswood is on the cover with a great article. The Ring is looking better than ever.

As I recall they mail them out at different times. Your location and times mailed changes. Do the PTB know if that is correct.
Seems like sometimes I get mine way before I expect it and other times wonder "When or if"! For those still reading August...and like coins..my nearly normal look at coin boxes is in Come a little Closer. Harris

Got mine today. Looks great (as usual). I'm not really a fan of the cartoons, so I didn't even notice it was missing. Good catch, felixjr! What I do continue to miss is Aldo's column.
Just curious... Why does everyone seem to expect their issue to show up by the first of the month? This is always a mystery to me. The cover states "September," so as long as it shows up in September I'm generally pretty pleased. |

I just realized that Mike Powers has taken over the Card Corner column. Very cool!! I can't think of a better successor to Tony Econ, who did a great job with it over the years.

MagicGuy, in regards to your response most magazine come out to the private sector before they hit the news stands. Usaully a week to ten days. Since TLR is PRIVATE it comes out during the month. Since I have been a member, receiving TLR mine has always arrived within the first week of the month. So when it does not arrive I just want to make sure that the MAILPERSON is not reading the latest issue and YES this does happen.

It's nice to hear good news about The Linking Ring's look and content because I have been helping Sammy Patrick Smith (the magazine's executive editor) with it as an associate editor. I helped Scott Humston with the Terry Evanswood story and wrote the story about Romany in the August issue. Sammy is working hard to to put out the best possible product for the IBM's members, and I appreciate the opportunity to be part of it.
Sorry, but I have no control and no idea about how and when the magazine is mailed. Bobby Warren p.s. Sammy makes me keep information about upcoming editions confidential, but I will tell you the October cover moves The Linking Ring in unchartered waters, and the accompanying layout for the cover story is incredible. (I cannot claim credit for either one.)
