Walmart has black fake roses for sale this time of year for a dollar.
At other times of the year, I tell a story of a Vou Dou Queen and Gris Gris. I use a simple drawer box, which is seen empty and at the conclusion of the story, the rose is found in the box. I much prefer fresh cut, but in a pinch, or for display, the artificial does fine. Peace, Parson

I carry black and red napkins with me. I sometimes make black or red napkin roses as part of my line work. They make orange napkins, too, but I don't like how the finished product looks. Too...orange!
