I can understand Tony Clark's Giant Card Fan Production can be magically produced from many areas. Can McBride's Double Jumbo Card Fan Finale be produced from the same hidden areas like Tony's or do Jeff's cards have to be displayed without a magical production?

And another question... Does anyone know where you can get McBride's Double Jumbo Deck? His web site has been sold out for months.
By the way Dynamike - I don't quite get your question. I have McBrides' "Manipulation Without Tears", which shows his double jumbo decks, and I also have Clarks' "Award Winning Card Routine." But I can't understand what you are asking? Do I have the right videos to understand your question? Can you clarify? |

Keep trying McBrides website.
Check every month. It is a prop that is well worth the wait. Best Brandon

If you buy Jeff's fan production, get his Manipulation Without Tears DVD. He covers the fan prodcution in it. You really do have to practice to become proficient with it.

By the way Dynamike - I don't quite get your question. Can you clarify? I can tell Tony's cards can be produced in a magical manner. Show hands empty, next a fan of cards appears. Does Jeff's come with the same effect? or does the magician first has to pick up a fan of cards in open at the beginning, next the magic appears and the fan splits. So Tony's come from no where (to the audience). Does Jeff's "first" fan comes from no where (to the audience) too? I understand Jeff's second fan comes from no where (to the audience). |

Dynamike - The link you gave is the one that is out of stock. Once you click "add to cart" it lets you know that they are unavailable.
As to your question, Jeff McBrides' jumbo deck "magically appears" with misdirection and a steal. Prior to the steal, the magician shows his hand empty. The deck comes out looking like a fanned regular size deck and with a quick flick becomes a fanned jumbo sized deck. I hope this isn't revealing too much in open forum. I can't really speak to Tony Clarks' method, because I haven't seen a video that describes his gimmicked jumbo fan. His web site, however, indicates that he recommends the left hand version of his jumbo cards, "This way you can steal it with your left and then display it in you right hand". To me this indicates that Tony's jumbo fan is picked up with a steal as well. Other Product Differences: It appears to me that Tony's version comes with one jumbo fan and a dvd, and costs a little more. McBrides comes with two jumbo fans and no dvd, and is ussually out of stock. Maybe someone can add to or confirm these perceptions. |

Are both versions the 'fan-to-see' version?

Thanks Tony. I needed a new one.
Also, I feel that McBrides works the best. I have gotten a standing ovation using those at the end of a shoe. Well, I also have a card fountain go off... Anyway, If done well McBrides is the growing card production is the best. -Brandon

Hi,
For my opinion Jeff McBride's Jumbo fan is better. Because Tony Clark's fan don't like real. Also in Jeff's you can do 3 effects in one. I mean you can produce the fan, spilit into 2 and then make them Jumbo. I think its great. Also its very easy to do. You must check his web site. magcially yours, Nedim Guzel |

Its a good effect but I think its not a effecet itself. It can add color to your routine only.

Jeff says in the "Manipulation Without Tears" DVD that he started with Brother John's 'Fan-to-see', but didn't like how part of it worked, because it used to hands and he wanted to do it one-handed. So he "improved" so to speak, Brother John's 'Fan-to-see' to make his version.
I had thought about making a set myself, but I haven't ever picked up a deck of jumbo cards. If you have "Manipulation Without Tears" Jeff teaches you how to make it. It doesn't look to hard to make, although it might take a time or two in order to get it right. Danton

Were this my cup of tea I'd make one myself (very easy to make). Like Danton said, Jeff teaches how-to on his DVD.

McBride didn't exactly teach you how to make it in the Manipulation Without Tears DVD. He talked about a couple of key parts used in making it, but it was hardly detailed description. I do think someone could figure it out though. There will be some sewing involved. I would be very interested in hearing about it if anyone has success in making it. Since McBrides website is out of stock and all. Someone get busy and then teach the rest of us coat-tailers how to do it...
