JP, I posted there and PM'd you. And by the way, what exactly did the Champion win, besides worldwide applause? -Mb

The champion gets 40 euros (60 dollars approx.) to spend in magic (free shipping).
We do this contest every month (started two months ago). She said she is interested in the New York Magic Seminar by David Roth, Michael Rubinstein, Geoff Latta, Michael Gallo DVDs. |

Hey, wouldn't it be pretty nice if the NYCoin Guys reached out to this exceptional young lady and made a gift of those DVDs...? Wouldn't that be pretty nice in recognition of her fine abilities and accomplishment here, especially since she has mentioned these fine magis and most of them are members here? Indeed, it would be a very nice gesture. Perhaps they may work their strong magic here for the young lady and Champion.

Totally agree with you, Mb217. That would be mighty nice gift for the young lady, and a well deserved one at that.

Dropped a response on there. When some of the greats in coin magic are praising her performance, you know it was an excellent display of magic. Looking forward to seeing more, and definitely some more sponge ball videos from her.

Townsend, Latta, and Roth come to mind.

Credits as best I know them: L'homme Masque for the start. Hoffmann for the basic routine and fingertip handling using the gaffus (Multiplying Money from More Magic). Townsend for the Coins Across, attention work, and retention to EG, etc. Kurtz for the published routine structure in modern literature (see Hoffmann's More Magic for original). Latta for that nice one handed vanish he calls a "French Pop".
Also...Jimmy Wilson for the grip, and Mike Gallo for popularizing that grip in modern routined use. And, yes, Kenner/Hooser for making the genre so popular.
