Yeah, well I can escape anything with a stick of gum and a paper clip. . .
Well, I always have 2, 3, and 4. And you're right, I can fix almost anything. Never found a convenient way to carry duct tape and WD40 around with me, though
What would Wavy do?

My Swiss Army Knife!
I collect them. Have one from 1944. Great tools, and strangely addictive!
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

You are forgetting the almighty vice grips.
I used to take apart, reassemble, fix anything to do with my bikes with nothing more than a pair of vicegrips

Carry your Duct tape on a loop of wire on your belt...the wire also can be a 'necessary'.

I put a bicycle together with a nail clipper.
Then I snipped my nails. |

I can completely dis-assemble and re-assemble a Bradley Armored Fighting Vehicle (not to mention kill large grizzley bears) using nothing but a "spork".

Darn, Margarette, ya beat me to it! Well look in my store room and you will think I own Sears and that it is Tim Allen's vision of heaven, but I never use anything but the duct tape and bailing wire when something needs fixin.

All I need to fix anything can fit inside my wallet: Cash.

I alwys carry about three feet of duct tape wrapped tightly around a drinking straw in my pocket. I have never needed more than that for a quick "on the road" fix

I always have a Leatherman Kick. You know I've gone through multi-purpose tools like you wouldn't believe, but this Leatherman is my first. I gotta say they are freakin' awesome, sharp blade, tough make, and the Philips and flat screwdrivers are for the real world, nit the tiny ones.
If you want a real survival tool to keep on your belt (Like I do) or in your car. The Leatherman Kick is the "Bees Knees".
