What in your opinion is the color change with the smallest amount of movement (finger and hand)?
No gaffs, just pure sleight of hand. |

Dingle Bounce Change or Rubinstein's Wave Change come to mind, no finger movement at all.

There is a colour change based on the Flying Wombat Vanish in Coins On Edge which uses only a wave of one hand over the other. A similar waving change can be achieved using Deep Back Clip.

I seem to remember the Bounce Change...remember it being rather nice, too. I think Justin Miller spoke of it once. Nice change!
And if I'm understanding this thread correctly, I would think a Spellbound Change uses very little movement of the hand or finger for the change to happen...if I'm correctly understanding the question, that is.

All good changes, although I forgot to mention one handed.
With two handed, I use one from Apocalypse. I can't remember the name, but it actually has no finger movement in either hand, just a quick downward movement by one hand and no movement at all in the other. |

Smith,
I have several one handed, but I have one that you can show both hands empty after the change. This one is done using P Data, and you will see it in a video clip I expect to upload this week. Peace. Mano. |

Blade,
My video is on schedule. You'll find it at YouTube, but I won't be posting here. I am a goner. I have said that several times already, but this is it. |

Paul,
In my honest opinion, all the great one handed color changes out there, including the Crimp Change (the way I do it), are great for their purposes. None are that invisible unless there is even a faint movement. My question is..... Did you want the change to happen visually? If so..the Crimp would be my best bet. Not to promote it, as it needs no further promo. I just feel that the subtle wave kills the finger movement. I will try to make a video for you as soon as I land in the US. I feel that if the change does not need to be visual, then the brief use of misdirection...like throwing their gaze ever so slightly away for a fraction of a second while still having it in the spec's peripheral...only to see a complete change makes for a more startling effect. It's rather hard to explain in words, but if you can manage to get a Skype account....I can show you thru webcam. Best of luck! Rannie

One handed, I like Sol Stone's change, the pick up and slap down one.

I actually use the Catapult Vanish from Bobo's in my new Crimp Change routine, but to exact a change, and I refer to it as the "Cat Change" in the effect. Very visual ending and leaves you clean with just one coin.
And thanks, guys, for mentioning the Crimp Change here. Quite an honor. -Mb

Mb, there's a change created by Brian Platt in his Catapult! DVD. I think, the change you use sounds the same.

It's a sleeving technique in Bobo's.
Unless, of course, he's talking about "Over the Top". |
