You mean you didn't get the psychic invitation they sent out? It woke me up in the middle of the night, but I wasn't interested so I went back to sleep.

Slim, I was a semi-finalist for this show.

After the audition process they told me I might actually be too strong for it.

I auditioned first with the "J ack Galloway Experiment", then I was called in to do my "Broken Tarot Demonstration" and finally one of many experiments I enjoy doing from the Institute of Comparative Behaviorism.

If I tone down my abilities, maybe next year....

If this is anything like the show that aired in the UK nearly 2 years ago, it won't be anything to write home about. Seemingly, most of the tests were too difficult.

I'm not holding http://www.skeptics.org.uk up as a paragon of virtue, but they do have the collated scores for each round at the link below.

So far they are going through elimination rounds. They have 3 assorted psychic challenges and the 2 with the highest score go through to the next round.
Friday night showed episiode 2, although I notice its not up on the lifestyle website yet... Great show if you ask me!!!

How does this compare with Phenomenon? I will see this show for the first time tomorrow (Friday) night. The comments so far about Phenomenon are phenomenal.

I watched this thing.
Oe of the tests was for the contestants to go into a parking lot and find a person who was hiding in the trunk of one of the cars.
One of the psychics walked pretty much directly to the car and there was the guy in the trunk.
Was very interesting to me.

Peace,
Parson

Oh yea, right after that, she had a lot of trouble matching brides with their grooms.
Here kitty, kitty,kitty. Smile

I thought that test was interesting too, because did you notice that for the most part each contestant successfully matched up the groom who had the BIG earing holes to the bride who had all the tattoos? Haha, just thought it was kinda' obvious even to viewers at home that those two went together! Smile I wonder if the show did that on purpose for the psychics to see how much they would BS on a pretty obvious pairing! (or not?) haha, anyways, just thought that was kinda' interesting-- other than that, I really do like the show so far! Smile

Actually that lady did more than that. She got there, before the guy told her what the challenge even was she said. "I am looking for a guy in the trunk of a red car". She didn't do real hot on the bride and groom, but when talking about the murder scene. She found the locatioin of the body. Told them it was a women. Said it was a fake robbery, said she was stabbed in the throat. To be honest I was very impressed with that lady.

Yeah ChiChi, I was impressed with that too! I was also really impressed with the episode before that one, where the psychics did the readings about the details of Janis Joplin's passing in her hotel room. Kind of eerie! I also like the ''psychic'' challenges for the home viewers before the commercial breaks-- a little more intriguing than Uri's interactive challenge the other night, huh? haha-- Cool show Smile

I picked the pink dress on that one challenge. The others were too drab. I'm not sure how I'd look in it though Smile
