Howdy!
I seriously need to have a contract that I can present when booking gigs. I did a search on the Café, but didn't find anything on the subject... (Then again I only dug five pages in to the search results). Do any of you know of good resources for putting contracts together? Should I go ahead and hire a lawyer? Is there a standard performers contract out there that I could modify for my needs? I really don't know where to start with this, and I'm afraid if I write something up myself it will bite me in the rump later. Any help at all would be appreciated! |

Try this website: http://www.jimkleefeld.com/JWKBooks.html Scroll down to "The Contract Book". This is what I used to setup my birthday party and corporate event contracts.
Good luck,
Dan

No problem, it just took me a few minutes on google to put in the right phrase to find it. I was going through some of my things the other day and found my contract book and remembered how helpful it has been to me.
