Okay, so I'm a dork. But in my one coin routine, I've named the coin Pablo. He is a good coin and does only two tricks (roll over and stay). I want to add that "touch" to other routines, so I'm open to suggestions for names.
I need names for:

a group of four (Coins Across) I'm thinking John, Paul, Ringo, and George. But give me some ideas anyway.

a group of 3 (3 Fly or Gadabout)

Copper / Silver

They may be serious or funny, but try to come up with a reason for choosing those names. Have fun.

Larry, Moe & Curly
Tom, Dick & Harry
Dewey, Cheatem & Howe

Copper / Silver

Recto/Verso
Orie & Oh
Clinton & Clinton - they both have two faces.

Since you're in the Carolinas, the Wright Brothers might be good for a C/S routine. You can talk about the quest for flight and whatnot as the coins go from hand to hand.

Serious? Joe, John, Robert and Ted Kennedy. Because they're Kennedys.

The Three-Fates: CLOTHO who spins the Thread of Life, LACHESIS who allots the length of the yarn, and ATROPOS who does the snip (the final one).

Chico, Harpo, Groucho, Gummo, Zeppo - The Marx Brothers. No reason really.

Larry, Curly and Moe for Gadabout.

How about Jekyll & Hyde for C/S? Anthony and Cleopatra? Laurel and Hardy? Britney and whatshisname?

Dr. Rubenstein's Specolini Brothers Coins Across does this, and it is relevant because of the plot. The Dewey, Cheatem, and Howe sounds very logical for a money oriented script - I would probably vanish them because of the ability my lawyer had in making my money disappear. LOL

I like jekyll & hyde for a spellboud type routine.

Ted do you mean that Rubenstien uses Dewy, Cheatem, and Howe? If so I'll have to look into it for story ideas.

Jaz the Kennedys idea is a hoot. thanks.

Keep 'em coming.

I'm sorrry for the confusion - Dr. R's routine does not use Dewey Cheatham et al. - that was a separate observation for a plot on my part. I recall one of Dr. Rubentein's characters is Mario - I forget the others at the moment, but as Pod said, it is available.

For a routine where some coins seem to vanish and appear at the fingertips, as if they had mischevious minds of their own, I named the first two--Thing One and Thing Two. From "The Cat in The Hat". I sense a lot of happy memories as people recall where they've heard those names before.

What routine? "Ate Misbehaving" (See sig.) Darn those pesky plugs!

I can't believe that you would stoop so low as to plug your own _ great and amazing- effects here. that is so unprofessional to try and sell your - audience flooring and very visual - stuff. I am so ashamed Mr. Kam (who might possibly be one of the best coin magicians out there) You shouldn't try to plug such - awesome and inspiring - trick. tsk. tsk.

HAHA I'm not even selling stuff and I'm pluging. Beat that!!!!

I do like the thing 1 & 2 idea.

thanks ted for the clarification. Do you know who, if anyone, uses the Cheatem et al?

Grey I like the three amigos. I hadn't even thought of them.

thanks for all the responses they have all been great. Any more?

For the C/S coins:

Abbott and Costello

For 3 Fly combined with 4 Coins Across (With Kicker Ending)

3 Fly:
Who's on First
What's on Second
I don't know's on Third

4 Coins:
Why (Left Field)
Because (Center Field)
Tomorrow (Pitcher)
Today (Catcher)

Kicker Ending:
I don't give a darn [JUMBO COIN]

Can't figure out how to get Naturally in there who is believed to be right field.

It would be great to actually see the whole Who's on First bit set to cards!

Anyhow, Have Fun!

If you do goaspel Magic.... The Holy Trinity

For the egotistical and self loving type of magic....ME , MYSELF, AND I! LOL!

For kids.... Harry, Ron and the lovely Hermione

Have fun!

For HH, I adapt the boss story about Elizabeth and John.

For three fly, threeple treat or 3cq, I use Three Little pigs, or three blind mice... they don't have permanent names, but usually, I name them sneaky mice after the three potter leads.
