I've wanted to see this routine just for the fun of it. I haven't seen it anywhere. When I search I come up with a lot of David Lee Roth links. I'm not in the market for Mr. Roth's DVD's yet, just curious to see this one routine. So does anyone know of video of this routine on the web?
Thanks

Hey.
David Roth and I will be touring around your area (sorta) in less then a month on a lecture tour. We will be at Denny and Lee's and Toronto, and possibly Ashland. Let me know if you, are anyone else, would like details. Ben p.s. The routine in question is great, but I don't think anywhere on the internet. His DVD's are worth it though, if you are into coin work.
If you're reading this you're my favourite magician.

Hey Ben,
Unfortunately I just missed Mr. Roth in New York. I believe he was at Fantasma Magic Shop a few weeks ago. I'll probably get the DVDs eventually, but I like to see the routines before I buy them because I have trouble with certain sleights - one-handed, you know. I really just wanted to see this effect for enjoyment, not to learn it necessarily. I'm going to be on the lookout for Mr. Roth's next New York engagement. Thanks for the tip, though. All the best. Dave

Hey Dave...David Roth is one of the best coin workers in the history of magic. His material is top-notch. Be warned, however, most of his work must be done seated. That is not a bad thing, but it is something to consider.

Seated is not a problem, I use a wheelchair a lot of the time. Seriously, all of the magic I choose to do is seated close up. I’ve gotten pretty good at discerning whether or not I can do a routine by watching a performance. I may not be able to figure out the exact method, but if there is a lot of obvious two-handed action, passes ect. I can pretty much eliminate a routine from consideration right away. On the other hand, I can sometimes adjust a routine to work one handed, using the close-up pad in place of my left hand.
Again, I’ll catch Roth’s Rainbow on DVD or hopefully live eventually. Ah for the days when there were magic specials on TV on a regular basis. Thanks for the feedback, Dave
