I posted this to another site and would be interested if anyone here has an idea. I am looking for the brushes that cover the openings on the Stretcher Illusion. Does anyone here know what industry they are actually designed to be used in??? I have heard automotive (trailers at the back). I thought for the bottom of swinging industrial doors.
The Gaughan Stretcher I have, could use them, the sucker is almost 12' long!! On the scrapbook page. Thanks all. Blair Marshall "ShaZzam!"

Try going to the local library and check their copy of the Thomas Registrar. It would be in the reference section. This is a multi book listing of thousands of industrial and business related products. Next look in the section on brushes. I have seen these type of brushes used by manufacturing companies that build sweepers. You should get some good leads in the Thomas Registrar.

Check an industrial supply house. Because they use the "brushes" you are talking about. For large overhead doors, etc., to keep stuff out of them. Like birds etc.
Hope this helps..... Trey |

Although I'm not familiar with this particular Stretcher illusion, this is the "picture" I have in my mind of what you are looking for:
http://www.docks-doors.com/weatherseals/......eals.pdf http://www.docks-doors.com/weatherseals/......eals.pdf They come in lengths of up to 10 feet.
Things are more like they are today than they've ever been before...

Yeah that's what I was talking about ClintonMagus. I knew that it was used for overhead doors. I just didn't know what it was really called. I have it on all the big doors on my warehouse. It helps keep junk from coming in the cracks. Kinda! HAHA
Hope this is what he was looking for. Trey |

You do realize that you are addng a comment to a post that is over 5 years old, right? |

He may still need them you never know. Maybe someone else needs them. This thread could help them out someday. No matter how old the post is in here. If the question was not ever answered. Then you can still answer the question. What if the poor guy has been waiting five years to buy some new "brushes". But never knew where to get them.
Thanks for your concern for my mental health though! Trey |

Nope, still using it with the Lycra, I have heard brushes can cause chaffing with the movement of the arms and legs against them.
