I read a review that wasn't in good favor on http://www.mylovelyassistant.com.
I myself was wanting to get some other thoughts on it also. Anybody?

Use some logic on this one. Just plain, simple logic. If there isn't ANYTHING attached to it, then what's the ONLY way it can float?
I didn't buy it because I figured it out. I saw another magician "attempt" to perform it, but it wasn't very good. If you want a floating ball, check out Don Wayne's Floating ball. Yeah, you can't perform it everywhere, but you can perform it in a lot more places than Braco's. |

Thanks midknightmagic, and jongallagher,
I do the Wayne's Floating ball in my show now. I have two other men to help me with this one. I was trying to cut down on my crew. I'll go back to some old routines. Thanks, :spiningcoin: |

This was discussed at length here and the almost universal opinion, including my own, is that it is a nearly worthless, extremely impractical idea. Oh, and it's incredibly expensive for a manuscript.

I agree with Steve.
Braco's Floating Ball is awful. Awful, awful, awful. My friend bought this and showed me and I couldn't say anything. I was flabbergasted at just how bad this is. Now I normally look for the 'good' in any given effect. The principle could be good, but not thought out; the effect could be new and exciting, but the method is weak; or the effect is alright, the method is simplistic and obvious, but the psychology behind WHY it works is great. I found NONE of this in Braco's Floating Ball. He even admits in the (WAY overpriced) manuscript that this is almost entirely theory! He sells a ridiculously overpriced book and all you get as the consumer is his theory on why this SHOULD work?! Unacceptable. I may have forgiven this if there was something, anything, in the effect that was new. There isn't. This is essentially just another floating ball but without the thread...or the ball, for that matter. I agree with jongallagher. If you logically think about this, you will realize the method and how outrageous the whole idea is. But this is just my heated opinion. Later, Sean Fields |

This effect really SUCKS! I have it and I want my money back. The ad is a lie! It said that there isn't ANYTHING attached to the ball. Well,I was lied to.
Why do some magic dealers or inventors make up lies so that they can sell their piece of junk? You will have to invest more money to make, this great work of !@#$% work. Save your money. Remember a few years ago when we all spent $20 on a dumb paper clip for a levitation? It ranks up there with that. Ray Noble |

I am thinking of buying it just to see how it can float. I can only think of a couple ways, but they would be too impractcal. Do you need like a huge jet engine to make it float? Hahaha.

Ray, I believe he also has another version. But it's not worth our time discussing either method.
Lee, how else would something round float?

Is it just me or do all the tricks, so far, by magiceffex fail to impress me? (With the exception of 'Telepathy Box,' which is extremely SIMPLE, but if you really use it, it's quite useful.)

Logan, I agree with you. I made the biggest mistake by purchasing (after that ******* Braco's ball!) Mental Monte and one small ball (I don't even remember its name!) which I threw away! What a piece of ****! Also, when they sent me that ball (a ball which you can move with the power of your mind....ha!ha!) it was already broken! When I sent them a mail they never answered me. So stay away from Magiceffex products and believe me, Logan, it is not just you.
