Which type do you use, rubber cement and/or glue stick? I find the glue stick works fine so far, but will I run into trouble down the road. I find it much easier to use the glue stick because the applicator affords a much smoother/thinner layer, and allows me to coat both surfaces for better adhesion.

Any inputs? Smile Smile

I was told once to use Dry is a fusion type of paper found in craft stores.
I have never tried this, but sounds workable.
If you try it let me know.

Dry mount or fusible fabric interfacing work wonders!

When using rubber cement is it necessary to let the glue dry on both sufaces or can you apply the surfaces together wet?

You can apply rubber cement wet or dry. The drawback to wet is you ten to get a thicker card as a product and you have a gooey mess to clean up when you squeeze them. Dry is far superior, but it can be difficult to line up. Wet is far more forgiving.

I've always used a glue stick and a press to clamp the finished card flat for a day or so. The glue stick allows a fair bit of repositioning whereas I suspect that rubber cement may not.

Rubber cement gets my vote. I have tried at least a dozen different types of glue and adhesives. The spray adhesives work quick but almost too quick. The rubber cement gives me time to get cards aligned and the clean up is easy if you make a mistake. Also rubber cement seems to give me the best finished product. I apply a thin layer to each card then use a roller to roll the cards after sticking them together.
Never forget to dream!

Be sure to get only the 'no wrinkle' rubber cement. The container will be clearly marked.
Pick a card, any card...No. not THAT one...THIS one
