Hello Fellow Caférs,
I have a Disecto I am researching that I picked up a year or so ago. Its twice as large as the regular Disecto's and came with a wooden carrying case. On the side of the case it reads "Pierre & Co.". I'm guessing by its looks and some other recent clues that this is probably from the 50's or so. Maybe a custom job by Abbotts but wouldn't rule out another manufacturer. If anyone has or could help me locate some more information on this I would really be appreciative. Regards, Brad Click here to view attached image.

I have doubts that it's an Abbott's, although certain elements do remind me of their work. You could always email Greg Bordner (greg@abbottmagic.com) with your picture and ask if he's aware of it being a custom order. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.

Thanks! That's definitely a start. I Googled the name but so many choices.
I will give him a email and see what he thinks. Brad

I don't think this is build by a magic manufacturer like Abbott's.
Most likely it is home made by the magician himself... (by Pierre himself ?) |
