Can anyone provide a review or related commentary on this new listing from Hocus-Pocus? The new element seems to be that this Rubic's Cube can be handed out for examination after it solves itself. The online video is very effective!
Thank you for your help! Tom |

When Garrett Thomas lectured for our Ring, he said he was working on a new version with Daryl. I wonder if this is the one. there is no mention of jGarrett's involvement on the H/P site

Gaafman,
Thank you for your response! I did see that thread, but thought it was not the same because the cube could not be examined. Tom |

Arthur,
Are you referring to "Insta-Cube" or "Enchantes cube"? Thank you for your response! Tom |

From what I understand with enchantes cube you cannot hand it out for examination, with insta-cube you can-I think that is the difference

Hello,
The older version Enchanted Cube cannot be handed out for examination. The new Insta-Cube can be instantly handed out for examination. The method is very clever and so easy to use. This one is a winner. The full description is on our website. Best regards Paul Gross Owner Hocus Pocus |

Looks amazing.
I have a couple of questions though. How quick is the reset? Is it likely to break? When you hand it out and the spectator starts jumbling up the pieces do you have to resolve the cube before setting it up? Candini you type very well whilst blindfolded. Where did you learn to touchtype? Ok that's a couple of couple questions - I can't count. |

Jimesw,
Great questions! I also wonder if "Insta-Cube" is available now, or in a pre-order stage. Tom |

Hello:
I have to say the demo looks VERY good; the only drawback I can see is that it appears you end up a little "dirty". That's probably not a big deal to most people. I'm looking forward to a review too, before I take the plunge. However, if Arthur and Paul say it's good, I may just get it based on that. I mentioned it before, but I was around Craig Nichols when he invented the Enchanted Cube. He thought it up totally as a gag to show the magicians at a local IBM. The reaction was tremendous when he did it, and shortly after, Doug Henning bought one and did it on his TV special. Craig sold tons of them, bought a fancy sports car with the money, and then sold the rights to Daryl. I smile everytime I think of the history of this effect. Ron |
