Hi guys,
I finally got my book in the mail and what perfect timing it was. The next day I left on a business trip with a 7 hour flight and a wonderful magic book in hand! I read the book from front to back cover thoroughly and loved every word of it...and this is coming from a guy that prefers watching videos over reading books I heard a lot of hype about Scott's PB&J sponge ball routine as well as his ring and rope routine. Let me just say that this book is full of amazing, practical, mind boggling tricks! Every one of Scott's routines had me sitting on the edge of my seat. I felt as if I was a spectator right there in the crowd. People in the plane probably got sick of hearing me laugh. The layout is very easy to follow and the instructions are clear (although I did get lost a bit in the ring and rope routine at times). The photos add clarity and make it easier to follow. I especially like Great Scott's personal Guinn touch with his patter. The tricks he included are KILLER! Cups and balls, PB & J, Ring and Rope, Bill in Lemon, The Card or Cash visual matchup (great piece, Scott) are just a few of the many gems you'll find. Seriously...you need to get this book. I can honestly say that this is probably the best $17.50 I've ever invested in magic. I've never met Scott before nor am I affiliated with him in any way, it's JMHO. You've got a new fan Great Scott! Now I need to save my money for the rest of your books. Please tell me that your 3 book special is still on (this is in regards to your post in late January - Magishing, Pleasantly, and Coinage for $57.50) Come to Hawaii, I'd love to see you perform! nalu |

I do not have this book yet (will get it soon ). I've got some of his other books and I like all his stuff. I'm sure others will like it as well.

Hm. This is one I do not have.
I think you will appreciate the video when it is available, nalu, as it should clarify any issues you may have with the ring and rope routine. |

Thank you for the great review!
Yes, the offer on the "New Millenium Trilogy" still stands. I expect the other two books of the "Great Scott! It's Magic!" trilogy to be done by this time next week. The DVD should be out very soon (within the next month) as well, and as Paul said, the video instruction should help clear up the R&R routine. However, if you were just reading it on a plane without props in hand, it would be a bit hard to follow for anyone--just the nature of the beast with this type of routine.

But remember kids: when practicing on an airplane, "Ring on Oxygen Mask Tubing" is generally a variation to be avoided.

Scott:
How do you get the offer online, or do you have to order by phone to mention the offer? I trust you will post when the DVD's are ready! I know I'd be interested! |
