I should (but don't) remember this show, and certainly never knew he could do this. Liked the effects; looks like he was well-coached.

It shows you how almost anyone can do a lot of the stuff if someone picks the material and trains you.

I think it's also an indication of an actor playing the part of a magician. He has done his fair share of acting and it shows in how he moves on stage and plays the camera. Sad but true, even a moderately competent actor can pull off a magic persona better than some magicians who never took an acting class or workshop.
