Many of us have spent hundreds of words and a few days defending the rights of a performer we don't even know. This was a great time for the Café...an energizing injection. There were some great posts, windmills were tilted...we even made a couple of new friends and who knows how many 'enemies' were sent packing by REASON and passion for our craft and BUSINESS. What occured to Jim struck us all. Bullying and ignorance was challenged. I think quite successfully. For the most part it remained intelligent and civil. (Kudos to the pros on the Café)

Now...I'd really like to know from the man himself what went down...

Jim?

...think not that all wisdom is in your school. You may have studied other paths, but, it is important to remember that no matter who you are or where you come from, there is always more to learn.

Yeah... and let us know what Raymond did see inside those two envelopes, Jim... because I know that Raymond knew.

For some of you, I'm alluding at "Paracelsus and the rose", a short story by Jorge Luis Borges that I have always loved Smile

Hmmm, I believe this is a story about absolute faith.

Who knows what he is allowed to say? Jim had to sign some contracts and the show is still going whether he is there or not, he may not be allowed to give specifics.

Sometimes staying silent is the best tactic...

Letting things build.... then striking at the precise moment...

Watch for the signs....

Seek for portents....

Do not forsake the quest.

That's the point Tony. I'd like to hear what he can say. All of us have sure said enough.

And pretty soon this thread will be off and running into lala land once some of our usual looney suspects show up, if Spector didn't already nudge it there.

I know I'd have things to say to everybody regardless of NBC and I'm sure Jim being Jim is probably waiting for the ripples to slow down and then when all is calm re-milk the thing...haha...but some words are in order me thinks..

Very off topic but,
Lord Of The Horses - I love the Paracelsus and the Rose too. Bob Neale suggested that it would make a beautiful literary source for an Appearing Rose from Ashes...

What I want to know is why no one told those guys how the elemination would work and where they were suppose to go on the stage.

Because that, like everything else to do with the production, was fly by the seat of your pants.

I am receiving a psychic vision. Jim meeting with industry people. Looking at his Phenomenon contract. Much talking. Phone calls. All will be revealed soon.

I must go rest now.

And for Eddie Garland, let me say that Raymond Hill is free...it is Jim that is expensive.

He could be in Criss's trunk until he agrees not to say anything bad about Criss or runs out of oxygen.......

I'm surprised there aren't more members who feel it was all scripted. It's possible I'm wrong but my gut tells me that the producers saw the dismal ratings the 1st week and decided that they had to do something to try and create controversy. Criss was obviously prepared to do what he did and Jim's response didn't seem all that much better acted than his act. Finally, I'm confident that Jim will never admit that it was all planned but when has Jim ever left character on this site. The forums have always seemed to be used as an extension of his act. Finally ... if it wasn't scripted and Criss did indeed ambush Jim, it does show an enormous amount of hypocrisy by Criss. But ... I still go with the opinion it was all planned by everyone involved.

No need. I have called him already. Here is a photo of me kissing Randi's head after I got the check for a million bucks. Notice the orb I brought forth and the spectral head I caused to grow out of Randi's shoulder.

I am a powerful man!

That photo isn't real.

I can clearly see the threads holding up the cutouts of the fairies.

Todd,

I guess it is better to kiss his head (and for a million!) than to kiss his ass (as many do, and for FREE)!

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to make that joke. Congrats LotH, you win. The check is in the mail.
