I'm just thinking out loud here. What do you think of combining the two? Start a Misers dream with a coin pail, put the pail in front of a table top coin ladder and go into a coin ladder to finish with a cascade of coins ? Would one diminish the other? Good or bad idea? Opinions please.

It is the same effect to the audience. It depends on your skill level. Never do both. Howard

Would depend heavily on how you routine it. As graywolf pointed out the audience isn't likely to note the difference. Could be done, just has to have some good routining to support it.

I prefer the coin pail by itself. If you are entertaining, there is no need to up the trick. I don't think the audience will find it too impressive.

I have a coin ladder and I also do the miser's dream, but never together. More isn't always better. Sometimes it's just more. Actually, I enjoy the interactive nature of the miser's dream much more than the coin ladder.
