Im not shere if Im the originator of this trick.

Effect: The magician borows a ring. He makes it disapaer. He opnes an M&M bag. He poures out the candy, and in the middle of all the candy theres the spectators ring. Theres more, at the end the magician seals the bag.

Way back at the beginning of time (try the late 1940’s) a magician by the name of Bert Allerton was doing a version of this effect. I believe a version of his handling was published in his 1958 book “The Close-up Magician”. It was called the “Aspirin Tin”.

It has been used with aspirins, candy kisses, popcorn, and sealed cans of Slim Fast! Rudy Hunter borrows a ring and later produces it out of an ungimmicked and ungaffed, sealed Aspirin bottle.

There is no doubt in my mind that you developed your own handling independently. You stand on the shoulders of giants!
The artist formally known as Mumblepeas!
