Thank you for another great review. This is one of my favorite effects as well. You'll find it on my website at http://www.greatscott-itsmagic.com.
Let me just point out one thing in regard to Magisher's post: The free shipping on this item is only applicable to US customers. I've kept the price on this low--too low for me to be able to afford to pay for shipping on international orders. But it's light, so the postage won't be too high. I should also point out that this trick is also explained in my book, "You'll Be Pleasantly Surprised." I wouldn't want anybody who had the book to buy the trick unaware that it's the same. (In the first run of the book, this trick was wrongly titled: "Twistin' the Night Away." Same trick, just the wrong title.) You may want to buy it anyway for the cards. Or not. that's OK, too!

Hello Scott,
Wow, it seems to be very interesting trick. Please keep it for me. I'm ordering it now. And I expect your new video will be released soon. Koji |

Reviving an old thread. I just stumbled on this gem in a recently acquired copy of "You'll Be Pleasantly Surprised." I'm thinking that rather than using the Rainbow Deck, I might get some more mileage out of a color change (blue to red) and have something written on the red backs.
For those of you not familiar with this effect, it's a twisting routine packet trick w/ color changing backs as a kicker. I'm thinking there is an opportunity for a message on the backs: Happy Birthday, Corporation name, Stickman, signed cards from a previous effect (signed on back though), not sure. Anyone have any ideas? |

Replying to my own post. For anyone interested, I wrote one word on the back of each card, offset to one side, so that when they are placed overlapped on table you can read them. It seems to work pretty well and some magician friends liked it.I altered the handling a bit, but not too much. BTW, for now, the words are "Betcha didn't expect this!"
