Hey Godfather, it must've been your strong magic that got us back online here...
And Sol, thanks so much for your wonderful email about the Crimp Change Routine. That you tracked me down after the Café not being available for about a week is remarkable. Enjoyed your many kind comments about my work. Anyway, good to be back home here on the Café and again "Happy Holidays" to all. -Mb

Here's a recent post on the original review string about the Crimp Change Routine. I'm truly glad that people are embracing it and all its potential. What a year! Thanks fingers and Rick, much appreciated.

Happy New Years to everybody, and thanks to all those that gave the Crimp Change a try and found wonderment and enjoyment in the moves, effects and routines.
It's been a solid year of this stuff and I appreciate all the encouragement as well as kicks-in-the-pants at times that ultimately helped to better define and help deep-root my work out there far and wide. It's all been quite amazing. Special thanks to The Godfather and La Famiglia for their guidance and support. Good wishes this New Year to all the many friends here and worldwide. -Best, Mb

Hi Marion,
Thanks again for sharing your magic with us! I've been having a great time with your Crimp Change and the Routines. My biggest problem is trying to learn, practice and do too many things at once, especially this time of year, after ordering everything in sight so my wife could give them to me for Christmas. I highly recommend anyone interested in coin magic (which should include anyone reading this part of the Café) getting the Original Crimp Change download as well as the Crimp Change ROUTINE, PLUS. Happy New Year to you and everyone at the Café! I know mine will be great, because I'll be toasting 2008 in at The Magic Castle tonight. I hope to see some of you out here someday. |

Ben,
I've been following David Roth for many, many years. My favoriate coin routine in called Sawas Bank Nite. It's a great routine, however, YOU should check oue MB's "CRIMP" routines. I carry coins all the time. While I was at my Familys x-mas party I did the MB Transpo using a chinese coin and a large Penny. As I watched my Brother-in-laws mouth drop his doghter said WOW how did you do that. The magician at out companys parys are nothing like that. Coins are great, but they don't like to be droped. Best to all

Hey much thanks to you Rick and Tom. I'm glad you guys and so many others have seen the magical beauty in the Crimp Change. People tell me of this nearly every day as they experience it upon giving the downloads a try. I can tell you one thing, it absolutely gets better and prettier with practice. A great piece of magic always ready at your fingertips, that can veer-off into a variety of directions if you want.
Rick, glad you're liking that "MB Transpo," (aka Crimp Cop/Silv) it really is a stunning effect in this genre, unlike any other IMHO. fingers and others have spoke about it's amazement on people as you speak of it now. I do all the Crimp Change effects from time to time and always get around to doing the MB Transpo, it's just neat to do, fun for me and quite amazing to specs. I got a PM surprisingly from one of the greats here about my work, it was pro and con but one of the things he said he could not deny was how magical the use of the Crimp Change looked and the many ways I found to creatively present it. He mentioned that it definitely presented something that was not quite here before. He said that if it was here before like this, then all this newness just would not be. I sorta agree with that. Anyway, thanks guys for really giving it a try for yourselves and presenting it to the real world for their viewing pleasure. That's really what it's all about. -Mb
