You know what the most amazing effect of the entire night was?

Not that Angela found which box the guy was in.....but that she managed to get a chainsaw to crank 3 times in a row on live TV in one pull!!!

I don't care who you are....that's amazing!

BDC trained her well...

In all seriousness - I have been coaching Angela at different levels for the last two years. Last night's performance was in my mind one of her finest moments. I'm proud to have been a part of that process.

Smile And to be on Coast to Coast right after where millions of listeners chimed in. Unlike the Phen ratings, COast to Coast is consistantly number one late night radio.

Well done AF.

Not quite as I would have expressed that, but, if I got your meaning, then she for sure has!

I was thinking the absolute same thing about the chainsaw. I was just waiting for her to start cranking like crazy and that thing not starting for her but I'm glad it worked out for her. I find she has a very nice personality.
Any day I'm walking on top of the grass instead of looking up at the roots is a good day!

When terrorizing some unfortunate gagged and bound sod, putting him in a box and demonstrating your skill with a chainsaw passes as "mentalism entertainment" I cringe, (even more than Ross).

Moreover, Mr. Raven's attempt to demonstrate "mind over matter" by again "abusing" this poor guy with a concrete block and sledgehammer, was equally appalling.

These 2 "performers" have a lot to learn about mentalism and a good place to start would be to learn about treating your audiences with respect.

Let's re-focus on performing "intelligent mentalism" that respects audiences, amazes & entertains.

I kept thinking why didn't Angela just keep the chainsaw on the whole time?

Although I realized probably for dramatic purposes she started it 3 times.

Also why not have a table there to put on? Why the floor.

I don't know if Angela will continue on in Med school or now concentrate on show business but she was looking smokin hot during the whole series.

Hennessey-
I agree with the spirit of your remarks. We do need need “intelligent mentalism” that respects the audience...

But, hey--you're on highly competitive national TV, you've got three minutes, the producers are yelling “more edgy!,” the viewers have their trigger fingers on the remote...whadda ya gonna do...the tossed out deck?

An attractive woman dressed in a leather dominatrix costume with a chain saw...

Or a Q & A act Smile?

Which will the zombified population take note of?

The Q & A better involve the Deal or No Deal girls!

I don't know... I thought that was kind of very lame. I mean sure, they would show a man being cut in half in Live Television... Yeah! Smile

Did you notice that as the series progressed Angela's outfits got smaller, Ross' level of ultra-camp fear increased from whiny perturbed to 8 year old girl hiding under her bed, and the methods of near suicide became more and more ludicrous?

Season two will need to open with a female mentalist wearing a sequinned post it note mentally escaping from a pit of polar bears while Ross screams until brain shuts down from lack of oxygen...

Hey.. NBC.. this could work..

I agree with the statement about the unlikely prospect of starting a chainsaw that many times in a row, in such a short time.

Anyone who has ever used a chainsaw knows how finicky that they can be when you try to restart.

I was thinking the exact same thing when I was watching that one.
