Does anybody know if paul Harris ever published the idea for strange travelers in either lecture note or book form?

I actually don't believe it is in the AOA. "Strange Travelers" has a long history. I'm sure if you search here you'll find its antecedents.

There's a version of it by Vic Taylor in the book "Across The Void" which is all about the cards across plot. Personally I prefer my "Rove No More" version in the same book but it's whatever floats your boat. The effect itself in all its various forms is a classic, for obvious reasons.
