Greetings,
I wanted to take a moment to let you all know about a project that I have been working on for the last several months with my good friend David London. Many of you may know David from his magazine, Beyond The Smoke and Mirrors, as well as from his lectures and appearances at several recent magic conventions--including MINDvention where he was the feature performer in our late-night show, Sixty-Minutes of Strange. I have been helping David write his new show, (insert title here), as well as serving a director on this exciting venture. And now, after quite a bit of work in a very short amount of time, David will be premiering this show in Philadelphia in just 2 weeks, on December 7th. I would encourage anyone who is in the vicinity of Philadelphia to check out this unique performance, and I assure you that you won't be disappointed. Here are the details David sent me: DATE: Friday, December 7, 2007 TIMES: 7:00 & 9:00 PM LOCATION: Greene Street Studios 6122 Greene Street Philadelphia, PA 19144 (Mt. Airy/ Germantown Area) TICKETS: $15/ $10 for students email: tickets@inserttitlehere.com with name, phone#, and number of tickets desired to reserve your seat OTHER INFORMATION: Recommended for ages 16+ http://www.inserttitlehere.com Check it out... you won't be sorry. Keep the Change, Rick Maue Deceptions Unlimited ---- ADDITIONAL INFO Featuring highlights from his previous productions, "Cerebral Sorcery," "...Art of Dreams," "The Adventure to the Imagi Nation," as well as several never before seen creations, (insert title here) is magical, entertaining, and funny in ways you've never even imagined. Here are a few things that have been said about David's previous work: "...a surreal visual landscape." -Chicago Tribune "magically innovative and gets brains out of boxes." -Gerald Haman, Professor of Innovation, Northwestern University "...more Cocteau than Copperfield..." "... a fleeting evocation of dreamy wonder." -New City Chicago "...surreal and unexpected." -Potomac Gazette |

The Green Street studio is a very, very, very intimate little venue that is a perfect place to see a magic show, and if I wasn't booked that night I'd be there.

Rick,
Good luck on the show. Like Mike, I wish I could see it too. However, at that time I will be in the studio shooting film. Keep us posted. It sounds like it is off to a great start. Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

David London is a wonderful breath of fresh air and collaborating with Rick Maue is sure to produce a unique show… once again Denver is too far to drive for what I'm sure will be nothing short of extraordinary…
I urge all my friends in my home town to tell their friend and help support the magical arts by supporting this event… I look forward to hearing all about the show and I wish David and Rick nothing but the best… |
