Does one exist? Or are there chemical or electronic principles used in other effects that could be used to create a self-igniting candle effect?

There are some nice remote control candles on the market with a very tiny hand held device use to ignite the candle.

There is an article on Self Lighting Candles in The Wizards' Journal #4 on my site(The Wizard's Den at the bottom).

I have used this
http://www.geocities.com/howinfo/earth-air.html#Daemon's. Electric might be easier but the candle then is the trick and nor as real. Did you see the chick on that magic talent show? She used an electronic one and it looked like a trick if you ask me. |

You can also find a candle that you make yourself that can repeatedly ignite and extinguish itself. No electricity or electronics. It is detailed on The Magic Nook Forum in the Bizarre Bazaar section and hidden within the Secret Sargophagus. It's free.
