Don’t think it was original with him…

But, there was a guy around here,
and when he needed someone to come up on stage,
he's say
"I need some help, will someone assist?"

Then add:
"just anyone who catches my eye"
and toss out however many foam eyes he needed to get spectators up.

Or, how about a Bowl Routine, using the old Blind Men fable?

Or, how about just using real eyes from your old victims?

Magically,
Walt

Nah - when you squish 'em, they won't come back to shape.

They have a frightening quality which may traumatize audience members, Look so realistic, almost Higley like

Jeff McBride added eyeballs to his manipulation act a while back,
both eyes for billiard balls and round flat eyes for cards/coins.

I mention this as a point of curiosity only!
Don’t start doing stuff Jeff’s created for his own shows,
just because is sounds good and works for him.

I don’t think they frighten his adult audiences,
and could put-off party parents more than kids,
as especially little boys like icky things to play with.

And if you’re thinking of adding the foam eyes to your shows,
come up with a magically logical, sound, powerful reason to do so,
don’t just slam some eyes in because you left your Goshman’s at home.

KOTAH’s book “Brainstorm in my Pajamas” is a good source,
to begin thinking in an out of the box, creative way,
that just might work of these odd-ball (eye-ball) props!

My two-cents,
Walt

Someone needs to send some of these to Gwyd since we all know how much he loves sponge anything, bunnies, bats, whatever. Smile

Evil.
I was being so good by ignoring this thread too...
Grumble.

Sponge Bad.

But...For a kids halloween show, they are ok.
Of course, rubber bats are ok for a kids Halloween show.
I would not use them for a true bizarrist show, even one for kids.

Thanks Dough.
Grumbles again,
Gwyd

Anyone ever soaked the red ones in fake blood and used them in a "psychic healing" routine?
It seems they would lend themselves pretty well to that.. along with bacon fat and all.
