I seen Shoot's Neo Purse Routine and was inspired to do one myself. I took some of his moves and added others I liked. Let me know what you think...struture, patter, moves thing like that. I want to improve on this.
Thanks in advance Tim http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coKCFQQmQ8w

You did a beautiful job with this routine. I like the justification and there are many very clever and natural moves. Very nice!
Mediocrity is greatly under rated!

Looks pretty *** good. The technique is great.
Here are my comments. at 0:14, You gesture with the purse to your left, which is an unneccesary and suspicious action. I would watch out for that. The pushthrough vanish is a little stilted. The technique is good, I just think it can flow better. On the same kind of note, the patter is a bit repetative, so I would try to spice it up a bit, and I never liked transfering back and forth between "here is something my grandma gave me" and "people think I hide the coin in this hand." I think they are two very different kidns of presentations, and you might want to stick to one or the other. I love the moment between 0:30-0:37. Hope that helps. Looks good though.

Very nice, I thought your execution was quite good, and the choice of techniques fit your and your style of working very well.
The biggest failing of this routine (and it's not your fault, really) is that it has a great beginning and middle, but it's hard to figure out an ending. As it is, it doesn't build to a climax, it just sort of stops. Pulling a coin cleanly from an empty purse frame is a nice little effect. Vanishing a coin cleanly into a purse frame is also a complete effect. However, once you pull the coin out, push it back in, then do it another way, and then another, IMHO you're suggesting to the audience that you've got something just a little bit different, or a little bit better, for the ending. I'm not suggesting a jumbo coin. Let's give that a rest. The basic effect is that the purse frame makes things placed inside invisible. If you could hand everything to the spectator, and he could drop the coin in and it disappeared, you'd have an ending. If you could just vanish the coin into the frame completely cleanly, under test conditions, you'd have an ending. Maybe if you could vanish the coin into the frame, show your hands cleanly empty, and then the spectator reached in and found the coin, that might be enough of an ending. Another approach is to use a story-type presentation to provide the ending. You'd have to really take a serious look at the idea that it was your grandmother's purse frame, as Michael suggested. The trick would be something she would do, perhaps when you'd pass the candy store and ask her for money. She'd say "all I have is 50 cents, that's not enough" and put the coin back in the purse. You'd convince her that 50 cents would be just enough, and she'd pull the coin back out. A couple of repeats of this, and when you said the magic word "please" the coin would appear in your hand. Finally, this is a really good beginning, perhaps you could segue into a more complicated plot from here, such as the Fred Kaps purse effect, or my "Coercive Purse" from "Palms of Steel 2: Fists of Fury".

Nice routine.
I see you are a Dali fan.
After much soul searching about a signature, I decided not to have one.

First let me say thanks for taking the time to view and comments.
Professorwhut Yes I like Dali I airbrushed that. I'm a Illustrator by day and a magicain at night.....lol Just wanted to say that. I'm a Illustrator for Chrysler. Thanks for noticing. Mfeld Thanks for the suggestions you bring up a good point about the swing to the left I really had no reason to do that it threw the routine out of frame, everything else happened right in front of me. I know the patter was bad I need to work on it. Kam As always you come up with some great patter ideas, I wish we lived close so I could pick your brain more. I know the ending was dead but I was thinking I didn't want to have a jumbo coin at the end, just something else I would have to carry. I will have to think about this more and figure out what to do. I have your Palms of steel 2 and just love your Coercive Purse routine. I have done it once or twice in my day...lol Thanks again Tim
