I just thought I would share this with you guys.

My friends and I are sitting around making several gaffs for the trick NFW. Now, I had just finished making one using a set of red Bikes, so in my mind it seemed natural to need a gaff for use with my blue Bikes, and I say "Hey, I need a blue gaff for this trick." No one notices until the end where I pick up the card and start laughing because I was worried about having a blue gaff.

A little late-night humor for everyone.

Think about it... a certain type of gaff card will work with either color deck.

But not if using a Joker with that certain something.

True... THAT card is not "colorblind." But I think he was talking about the one that takes more effort to make.

I know that...Senior moment!

A couple of weeks ago, someone called and asked my wife if we had double face decks in stock. My wife called back into the card room to be sure, and I'll be ***ed if I did'nt ask her Red or Blue.
We all do it at one point or another.lol

Happened to me at a shop once, took four of us as many minutes to realize what I'd asked for. Good times.

Come to think of it, it was blank backed cards.

Don't feel bad, ur not the first. I had a student who had accidentally damaged her purchased NFW and I told her over the phone how to easily make a replacement set, and told her, "And don't forget to make it for both a red backed and blue backed set, so you can use both." She called me back a few hours later and shouted many great obscenities at me for that. Took me a bit to realize what I had done.

Speaking of NFW.
My Ring had Martini down for a Gaffed card workshop. He did a revamped version of NFW with completely different patter. It was really great but even with my notes I can't for the life of me remember it.

Go figure!
