Hi, I am not sure if I am posting this in the right section. I would like to know if someone can tell me who created the card trick that Copperfield dose with scorpion.

I don't know who created it, but I think it is based off of the old wooden duck routines. I would figure that DC (or someone working for him) came up with the idea to substitute a scorpion for a wooden duck. Adds drama.

My understanding is that this actually came from a kid performing on the street in Mexico. That's the story I heard.
It's all in the reflexes.
