No but the West version can be learned in a day for free and get you an immediate job headlining at your own theatre... or so I heard...
What's up with all these posts of yours, are you writing a book called "Four Minute Mentalist"?
When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth...

4 weeks? it might take you 4 years before you even get close to sounding good...
and given your 7 years experience...are you on a wind-up?

There is a huge difference between 'learning how' and 'being able to'. I think you could learn how in 4 weeks, but you would almost certainly suck at it.

4 weeks it's a very long time to learn the cold reading
For a dog it's 28 days. For a cat( more sensitiv) 12 days. A friend of mine from Mars learned cold reading in two minutes but he's not human.

I've been into mentalism for 5 - 6 years now and cold reading is finally becoming kinda instinctive in a spooky sort of "you just know" kind of way. Sometimes it freaks me out as much as the person I'm talking to, LOL
You might get away with learning some generic scripts but Cold Reading is something that comes with experience (life experience as well as performing) and time. Forgive me Johnresales, but for someone with 7 years experience of mentalism, you appear (from your posts) to be after a lot of 'quick fixes'. If you are unble to guess what a NW is and you're after a few free ebooks, then please understand why many of The Café mentalists are doubtful of your credentials. I think you should substantiate your 7 year claim or come clean. We're a helpful bunch but we demand a certain amount of honesty. Derek |

NO ! Unless you're rich. Then you can buy Knepper stuff and do miracles within half an hour after finishing "completely cold". The read itself won't take you longer than 15 minutes. How's that for a deal ?
