Hello everyone. I have a question for you all. Has anyone reading this ever travelled to another state to perform their show and for a period of time more than just a day; if so, did you require a visa and how did you go about it? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Grew up near one of the greatest minds in magic the late Stewart James, in a town called Wallaceburg just 15 mins from Courtright where James could be found, time and time again he would inspire me to always be creative and just love all magic.

Rick, I've performed in Thunder Bay at the Ice Arena in Canada and I had to have a work visa. If you're working with an agent, they should do all the paper work for you.

Performing in different states (or provinces) of the same country presents no problems, but if you wish to perform in another country, you need permission to work in that country. If you hold a passport (or similar, such as a "green card" in the US), this confers a natural right to work. Otherwise, you'll need a visa or work permit of some sort.
